RideMate is Perodua’s community carpool platform in development. It connects people travelling in the same direction, so they can share a journey and contribute to travel costs.
Can I be both a Rider and a Ride Host?
Yes. RideMate is designed around one account with both Rider and Ride Host roles. Ride Host participation will depend on qualification requirements, which are still being confirmed.
How would payments work?
The experience is designed to show a journey’s contribution before a booking request. Payment processing is not available yet, and no payment is collected by the current booking flow. Payment methods and final policies will be confirmed before launch.
Can I arrange a regular commute?
Regular shared journeys are part of the vision for RideMate. Recurring-trip tools and workplace community features are still being explored.
Is RideMate available to download?
Public app availability and a launch date have not been announced. This website introduces RideMate and previews the experience being developed.
What if my plans change?
Cancellation, rebooking and no-show policies are still being developed. Confirmed guidance will be provided before these features become available.
